What we’re doing right now
We’re working with a leading UK mushroom grower to explore the options to remove all the PVC used on existing overwrap machines from one line within the pack house. Discussions so far have been focused on using a mono layer PE film on mushroom punnets. Based on previous trials within the produce sector, we are confident in our Fuji machine’s ability to control and seal low gauge PE film with ease and offer substantial environmental benefits.
