Celebrations underway for Fuji’s Alpha series
The Alpha wrapper series has come a long way from when it was first launched in 1988. Since then, the series has evolved to providing organisations all over the world with reliable, fast and innovative packaging machines.
The latest edition to the Alpha family, the Alpha 8 series, was launched in the UK in September 2017 at the PPMA Show in Birmingham to huge acclaim. The machine has further evolved to incorporate a stronger, simpler and more accessible end seal system; which is quieter, more reliable and with higher sealing pressure. In addition, following extensive testing, the new Alpha machines, including the Alpha 8, have been proven to use 20% less energy, a reduction in setup and changeover times and extensive reductions in film waste.
