A sandwich wrapper that’s capable of processing recyclable, biodegradable and biocompostable packaging materials, specifically for sandwich products, will be gracing our stand at this year’s PPMA Total Show.
With recent surveys suggesting that ‘lunch on the go’ items like sandwich containers and snack packets are generating 11 billion items of packaging waste per year, the FW39N sandwich wrapper was designed specifically to significantly reduce the amount of plastic used during production. Using a third of the weight of normal sandwich packaging, not only can the Fuji FW39N process biodegradable, biocompostable and recyclable packaging films; the reduction in weight has a direct positive impact on transport efficiencies.
“We’re delighted to be launching the FW39N flow wrapper to the sandwich industry alongside our partner, Fuji Machinery & Co. Ltd. Manufacturers are now realising that in order to wrap their product in eco-friendly packaging films, they need a machine that has the ability to do so. We have plenty of options on offer and really look forward to demonstrating the new sandwich wrapper in October” says Aaron Bessell, Sales Director at Paramount Packaging Systems.
The all new Fuji sandwich wrapper; which is the first of its kind and will undoubtedly transform packaging infrastructures for sandwich manufacturers, will be available to pre-order exclusively at the 3-day event.
To see the FW39N sandwich wrapper in action, visit the Paramount Packaging Systems stand at the PPMA Total Show on 1-3 October in hall 5, stand C10. Our team of packaging experts will be on hand to answer any questions you may have.
