COVID-19: Update

As we have previously stated, during these difficult times, we want to assure you that Paramount Packaging Systems Ltd are taking all necessary steps to ensure that the health and safety of our staff, their families and our customers remains our top priority.
We are closely monitoring the recommendations of government, the World Health Organisation (WHO), Public Health England and other agencies during this time. We continue to take all necessary and practical steps to ensure that we are providing clean, safe and healthy working environments.
Based on the government guidelines this week, we are, where at all possible, working from home. We are now operating a skeleton staff within the office (Monday – Friday 08.00 – 17.00) to answer phones, emails and to deliver critical spare parts to ensure that our key medical, pharmaceutical and food customers can continue to operate.
Our engineers are on call to help assist our customers over the phone whenever they can. Should a site visit be necessary then we will try to assist with this where it is practically possible to do so. We have issued strict guidance to our engineering team, that should it be necessary to visit a customer’s site, then they and the customer must adhere to the recommended social distancing policy as well as all health and safety criteria. If any this is not being applied, then we will leave site – our staff and their families’ health and safety is of paramount importance to us.
At this moment, we continue with critical day-to-day operational activities as a result of the COVID-19 virus and will be working closely with suppliers and customers alike to ensure that normal service is maintained wherever possible during this time. Our delivery partners at home and abroad continue to operate, although please understand any slight delays during this period.
We will continue to monitor the situation and take appropriate decisions as and when necessary to ensure the continued safety and wellbeing of all staff and customers.

We are closely monitoring the recommendations of the Government, the World Health Organisation (WHO), Public Health England and other agencies during this time. We continue to take all necessary and practical steps to ensure that we are providing clean, safe and healthy working environments.
In addition to the advice and our standard health procedures, some further measures are taking place, including:
- Increased cleaning of work areas throughout the working day and the regular washing of hands for staff.
- The avoidance of any unnecessary travel for staff and working from home for those where this is possible.
- Where site visits are required, we are requesting all visitors confirm that they have not travelled to/from countries in Categories 1&2 of the UK Government Lists within the last 14 days and have followed Public Health England’s current advice.
- Any employee will be told to stay at home if they are or do experience any sickness symptoms.
We will continue to monitor the situation and take appropriate decisions as and when necessary to ensure the continued safety and wellbeing of all.
At this moment, we DO NOT envisage any delays to our day-to-day operational activities as a result of the COVID-19 virus and will be working closely with suppliers and customers alike to ensure that normal service is maintained wherever possible.
